Who we are
"Magnetism 3D Lab" (also "we", "us") refers to the operator of the electromagnetism3d.com website and the Magnetism 3D Lab simulator. "You" refers to the individual or institution that uses the Service.
What it costs
Nothing. The Service is free to use. Donations via Stripe are optional and non-refundable except as required by law.
What you can do
- Use the Service for teaching, learning, and classroom demonstration.
- Save and share scenes you build.
- Embed scenes in your Learning Management System, course website, or public lesson materials.
- Include screenshots and short video clips of the Service in lecture slides, academic papers, and conference talks, with attribution.
What you can't do
- Resell or redistribute the Service itself as if it were yours.
- Reverse-engineer the Service to build a competing product.
- Use the Service to harm, harass, or discriminate against anyone.
Content ownership
Scenes you create belong to you. We don't claim any rights to them. If you save scenes to an account, we store them to provide the Service; you can delete them at any time.
Service availability and warranty
The Service is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee and no warranty of any kind. It is an educational visualization tool and is not a substitute for formal electromagnetic-field analysis tools (FEA software, for example).
Liability
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and in any case will not exceed the total amount you have donated to us in the preceding twelve months (if any).
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the account page. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms meaningfully, we'll update this page and, for users with accounts, send a notice. Your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
