Electromagnetism 3D

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-19.

Draft pending legal review: this page is a plain-English summary of the arrangement we intend to offer. The final terms — reviewed by counsel — will replace it before any paid license is sold. If you have questions in the meantime, email [email protected].

Who we are

"Electromagnetism 3D" (also "we", "us") refers to the company operating the electromagnetism3d.com website and the Electromagnetism 3D simulator. "You" refers to the individual or institution that accesses or pays for the Service.

What you're buying

A non-exclusive, non-transferable, annual subscription to use the Service for educational purposes, with the seat count, features, and price set out at checkout or in your institutional agreement.

What you can do

What you can't do

Payment, renewals, refunds

Subscriptions are billed annually in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime; the Service remains available through the end of the paid term. We offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked.

Uptime

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. If we miss it, paid customers receive a pro-rated credit on request. We do not guarantee the Service will be free of bugs, but we ship fixes promptly and notify affected customers.

Content ownership

Scenes you create belong to you. We don't claim any rights to them. We store them to provide the Service; you can delete them at any time.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the preceding twelve months. This is standard for educational SaaS. The Service is provided "as is" and is not a substitute for formal electromagnetic-field analysis tools (FEA software, for example).

Termination

You can cancel anytime. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, with 30 days' written notice except in cases of abuse or fraud.

Changes

If we change these terms meaningfully, we'll email affected customers at least 30 days before the new terms take effect. Your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
